How to Reschedule
IRCTC Air offers its users the convenience of rescheduling their flight in case of any change in travel plans. To get started, first visit the IRCTC Air app or website. Then click on ‘Reschedule’. Enter your last name and PNR. You will be directed to another page where you can select flight details as per your updated itinerary. Then choose a suitable flight and your booking will soon be confirmed. It is important to note that this rescheduling facility on IRCTC Air is available for only 3 airlines, Air India, Vistara and Go First. Also, no change in passengers is allowed so make sure you put the names correctly and carry an official ID for a smooth check-in experience. Only one-way booking is allowed while using this feature and any fare difference on and above will be charged extra. How to Cancel
Ever since the world was hit by Covid-19, travel has been accompanied by a bit of uncertainty. Given the current situation, IRCTC Air has been trying to provide its users with greater flexibility to facilitate ease of travel. Consequently, cancelling a flight ticket is easier than ever before. All you have to do is log into your account and select the flight you would like to cancel. Select the transaction as per the segment or passenger and your ticket will be cancelled. Do keep in mind that cancellations need to be done at least 6 hours before the departure of the flight. Cancellation charges vary as per the airline and an additional charge of Rs.250 is levied per sector per passenger. Refunds are usually processed within 7 working days and you can easily check the status of your pending refund under the ‘Refund’ section on IRCTC Air. It is also a good idea to check the airline’s cancellation policy before you go ahead with your booking.
