1. Passengers can cancel their e-tickets 24 hours (for domestic) and 72 hours (for International) prior to the scheduled departure time of their journey.

Users of IRCTC can cancel their tickets in few clicks by following the steps as mentioned-

1. Login to your account on www.irctc.co.in / air.irctc.co.in
2. Go to my account and select the air ticket that you wish to cancel from the tickets that you have booked.
3. Users can cancel several ticket bookings of the flights issued under his/the login id that hasn’t been taken by him/her.
4. If the user witnesses any kind of issue during the cancellation procedure, they are requested to reach out to the IRCTC helpline for further assistance.
5. Email and SMS are sent to the user’s registered mail address and contact number for confirmation and future reference.
6. Requests for cancellation, made by SMS/Call won’t be entertained by IRCTC.
7. Passengers are liable to pay INR 250 and INR 500 for Domestic and International journeys, respectively.

   Refunds for IRCTC flight tickets are processed within 2 working days. However, passengers can claim their refunds in 7 working days, depending upon the terms and policies of the banks and the duration of clearance from their respective banks.
